One of the most popular series of math workbooks ever published, Mathimagination is back as a single 312-page binder. Practice is provided in puzzle formats like those used in the Pizzazz and Punchline books. The six sections provide practice in these areas:

• beginning multiplication and division
• operations with whole numbers
• number theory, sets and number bases
• fractions
• decimals and percent
• geometry, measurement and Cartesian coordinates

A complete answer section has been added at the end of each section, and section dividers are included to organize the book into the six topics listed above.
Mathimagination provides extensive practice with basic skills of elementary mathematics. Built into the puzzles are various strategies for giving the student immediate feedback as exercises are completed. For example, if the answer is not in the scrambled answer list or code, the student knows it is incorrect. The student can try again or ask for help. Teachers are able to spend more time helping students and less time confirming correct answers or checking papers. Students work with greater confidence, and there is a sense of closure and success when the puzzle is completed.

Most of the titles are engaging riddles or questions designed to pique the curiosity of students. They are motivated to complete the exercises and discover the punchline.
